Hetal is an experienced Counsellor who is passionate about helping people and seeing change. Born in India and having lived in Singapore, China and France, Hetal possesses a keen understanding of cross-cultural issues and the challenges of adjusting to new environments.

 

Her professional experience includes supporting those going through significant life changes, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and parenting issues. She has worked in community settings as a teenage pregnancy crisis worker and school counsellor in both Singapore and India.

 

Hetal uses a person-centred approach honouring the autonomy and individuality of each client to address their unique needs. She integrates techniques from CBT in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner to provide her clients with space to share their struggles and their values, strengths, and success stories. With empathy and tolerance, she helps motivate her clients and believes that everyone has the potential to have a fulfilling life. Hetal provides counselling fluently in English and Hindi.
